Pediatric Dentists

Dr. Rachel Korman

Dr. Rachel Korman

DMD, FRCD(c) - Owner

Dr. Rachel Korman received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at McGill University in 2021. She completed a General Practice Residency in Pediatrics at the IWK Health Center and Dalhousie University in Halifax. Next she moved to Boston to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Boston Children’s Hospital. She graduated in 2024 and became a Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She and her husband moved back home to Montreal where she began her journey in private practice in Westmount. 

In 2025, she and her husband welcomed a baby boy. While on maternity leave, she has been working hard to build her dream pediatric dental clinic. 

Dr. Korman's calm, gentle approach keeps her patients at ease in the dental chair. Her goal is to make the visit to the dentist fun and informative for the whole family.

Dr. Marie-Eve Asselin

DMD, MSc, FRCD(c)

Dr. Marie-Eve Asselin received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Université de Montréal in 2002, followed by her specialization in pediatric dentistry at Université de Montréal and CHU Sainte-Justine in 2005. She went on to teach pediatric dentistry at the University of Iowa before returning to Montréal. Alongside her private practice, Dr. Asselin serves as Chief of the Pediatric Dentistry Department at CHU Sainte-Justine and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She is deeply dedicated to fostering a unique relationship of trust with every child, ensuring each patient receives the highest quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Dr. Yanny Zang

DDS, FRCD(c)

Dr. Yanny Zang completed dental school at the University of Toronto in 2022. Following that, she travelled to the east coast to complete a Pediatric General Residency Program at the IWK Health Centre/Dalhousie University. In pursuit of her passion for pediatric dentistry, she obtained her pediatric specialty training at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and is a member of the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. 

All of Dr. Zang’s experiences helped to foster her passion for caring for children, especially those who have special healthcare needs. She is a strong believer in educating children and families on the prevention of oral diseases, and to foster a warm and encouraging environment for every visit.

Having grown up close to the Rockies, Dr. Zang continues to love spending time outdoors. You may find her biking around the city, hiking in places near and far, or enjoying a nice picnic at a park.
